SmartEdge was awarded a $1.3 Million contract from the Southwestern Central School District to provide energy efficient upgrades to the high school, middle school, elementary school, and bus garage buildings.
SmartEdge has met with district leaders in order to determine their main objectives on how to reduce energy cost and consumption. SmartEdge will execute the work at the lowest cost and provide the district with the best relative value. The district has control of the scope, equipment, and contractors on an expedited schedule. Also, all energy savings are guaranteed by SmartEdge! With a 15-year or less payback, this project is fully self-funded and is projected to generate $1.5M in utility savings.
The work is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2018 and will be completed by December of 2018.
