SmartEdge helped the Fort LeBoeuf School District in northwest Pennsylvania save more than $160,000 annually after completing a multi-phase facility enhancement program designed to lower utility costs, resolve infrastructure problems at district buildings, and raise the Energy Star ratings for each of the district's schools.

As an outcome of the project's improvements, the Robison Elementary School was able to be recognized as having a "100" Energy Star rating. This means their energy performance exceeds 100 percent of the energy performance of similar school buildings in the EPA data base.
Other schools in the district saw similar gains with the high school improving from a 21 to a 72, the middle school from a 54 to 84, one elementary school from 36 to 81 and another from 12 all the way to 84!
In addition to the reduction in energy costs, the district also recieved over $25,000 in utility rebates!
